Stranger in the House

Stranger in the House is a suspense film, based on a dangerous, real-life serial-killer who has yet not been apprehended. The entire episode of the serial killings and the victims was documented by the award winning Japanese journalist Sashamitu King and published as an exclusive story in www.tokyoherald.com.

The published articles chronicle this murderer, known as the Locally Infamous Eklavya Serialkiller, who targets his prey by identifying propagators of Fake News and mindless social media.

Gautam Shiknis has acquired the rights to these articles and the award winning reportage, to convert into a full-length story - which will also mark his debut as a feature film director. 

​

Currently under casting and pre-production, this feature film is being produced by Meta4 films, known for creating internationally known quality content like Bits and Pieces. The principal photography of SITH will begin in October 2021 at locations across Odisha, Uttarakhand and Mumbai, India.

​

SITH is also the first film to introduce the concept of "Original Motion Picture Playlist". The OMPL of Stranger In The House features songs by artist such as Pearl Jam, U2, Michael Jackson, Billy Joel, Indian Ocean, Eminem, Abba, Rolling Stones, Miles Davis and Prince - amongst others.
